Island hopping with Air Calédonie

New Caledonia has one international airport (La Tontouta), but also several local aerodromes - in Nouméa (Magenta), Koné,Isle of Pines, Ouvéa, Lifou and Maré - mainly served by the domestic airline, Air Calédonie. And so it was by plane, prettily decorated with Kanak bamboo engravings on an orange background, that the group were whisked to Lifou from Koné, via Nouméa, admiring the territory's magnificent landscapes through the portholes, from the mountain range to the lagoon!

“As well as saving valuable time, all internal flights offer an incredible view of the varied Caledonian landscapes. This means each trip is magical and different! ”
